INVEST IN RELATIONSHIP

The litmus test for true friendship is trying times. Anyone who can identify with you in your days of penury is worth keeping as a true friend.

Obviously, when you start climbing the success ladder you will meet new friends which is normal and natural but never forget those who were there for you before you climbed.

Never write off any man because he's nothing today, its only for today, do you know about his tomorrow? With my little years on earth, I have discovered that you must VALUE and INVEST in every relationship irrespective of their family, social, economic and educational background.

You shouldn't rate any body by where he is now but rate him by the vision he carries and the steps he's taking to fulfilling it.

I have seen people who tried in helping people but at the end when their morning comes they have little misunderstanding that set the relationship ablaze. What they most time look at is the end point forgetting the former investments.

It's true that your exit will be remembered longer than your entry and better is the end than the beginning of anything. So in whatever you do to anyone irrespective of who they are and their circumstances, always look at the end. Always show some little kindness because what goes round comes around. 

I once heard of Cristiano Ronaldo who presently play for Real Madrid, the world best player who is a Champion's League winner. In his formative days while on trial to what he is now, in a match that would decide the up turn of his career, the one with the highest goal would be taken as the striker (or what you call it), he and his friend, Albert Frantrau were both on a 1-1, and his friend had the opportunity of scoring the goal that would have granted him the ticket, he passed the ball to C.Ronaldo who scored and was eventually picked.
He asked his friend while he could make such costly decision, his friend told him that He (C.Ronaldo) can do better in it that he has other options to heartily pursue. Today his friend is on his pay roll while he's doing other meaning stuff with his life (story not verified).

How often have we missed our pay roll by simply rendering that helping hand.
IDENTIFY, VALUE and INVEST in every relationship, it will always help you. You only receive HELP by HELPing others reach their goal-destination.

LET YOUR ACTION SPEAK

Often times I hear people responding braggadaciously (don't mind the word, I guess you know what I meant) to victims of circumstance they couldn't get away with. I have often hear people say "if I was the one, I would never do a thing like that." Hold it right there Mr. All Perfect! Save those talk for yourself until you face similar issue, only then you will know that their yielding point after their strain was more than you can stand.

Don't tell me you're Honest until you face what makes you Dishonest Don't tell me you're Faithful until you face what will make you Unfaithful Don't tell me you're Reliable until you see what makes you Unreliable. Don't tell me you've Integrity until you face what will question it. Don't tell me you're Lovely until you see what will make you Hate. Don't tell me you're Trustworthy until you face what will make you Untrustworthy Don't tell me you're Tolerant until you see what makes you Intolerant. Don't tell me...just go through the test and let it speak for itself.

A word for those who love to criticize others over their shortcoming! Remember you don't have immunity, you'll also be tested.

Am I advocating that those who fall victims should continue in it? No! Rather take a stand and tell yourself "I was known for this...yesterday, today is a new day, I have turn a new leaf, so if you are looking for the unfaithful, unreliable, intolerable, hateful, untrustworthy, disrespectful man check yesterday but if you are looking for the Faithful, Tolerable, Trustworthy, Reliable, Lovely and Honest person...here I am! I'm a working PROJECT who achieves milestone every single moment."

Thank God for the persons we are now, He has truly done great work in us, like Chris Delvan would say "we came from the back side of the mountain, he has done work in us, he arrested us, he arrested our development in iniquity, now we can take a stand because His dominion is incontestable"

Be grateful to God always for this great work because you're not where you use to be even if you haven't gotten to your destination yet.

EMBRACE THE DYNAMICS OF CHANGE

Change is a word that just about every person talks about, I want to change my family, I want to change my world, i want to engrave my names on the walls of history, the list could go on and on.

In my little experience in the years of life I had live, I realize that the sum total of our overall change is gaining mastery over the little daily task. If you can master your day, you can master your life. STOP thinking of changing the future and START changing your day with your goal in mind. Change your thinking and change your life. Embrace it even if it's not easy for you. Nothing good ever crystallize from a goalless, inconsistent life. Leave your comfort zone if you will achieve anything significant with your life.

The world is changing and everything in it, what has value today will loss its relevance tomorrow. Its takes a committed and dedicated approach to life for your desired change to occur. Start little but never remain little.

When I was a young man, I wanted to change the world. I found it was difficult to change the world, so I tried to change my nation. When I found I couldn't change the nation, I began to focus on my town. I couldn't change the town and as an older man, I tried to change my family.

Now, as an old man, I realize the only thing I can change is myself, and suddenly I realize that if long ago I had changed myself, I could have made an impact on

my family. My family and I could have made an impact on our town. Their impact could have changed the nation and I could indeed have changed the world.

Go change something and never forget your God factor!!!

BE DETERMINED

When I was growing up, one of the popular quotes like John 3:16 from the Bible is "determination today leads to success tomorrow" now I come of age that truth still remain.

Men we termed successful today in our contemporary world, were determined people. I concur to the Merriam Webster definition "a quality that makes you continue trying to do or achieve something that is difficult" when you are set to make significant contributions in the earth be assured of trials of lack, rejection and criticism from especially the ones you love most. You are either going to continue on your determined course or resort to give up.

Thomas Edison worked tirelessly on his experiment, you know the story better, on one occasion the wife suggested he do take a leave and rest a while and asked where he do travel to for the vacation and he responded ...I will tell you by dawn. By dawn his wife came to greet him good morning in the same lab and he told her he's already on his vacation. His assistant once recounted their many failures to him, he told him they have learn many ways the bulb can't work. He was so determined that discouragement or fear of defeat couldn't knocked at his door. Today his name is everywhere, I guess you've never seen his picture but you've heard of his name.

When you know the direction you are going in life, never give up, when you encounter challenges see them as a sure bet you're heading for the right direction. Do you remember the doggedness of those three Hebrew guys in Babylon, they were determined to the point of death. Can you trust God for your course to such extent? ...hmm! I trust you will never doubt Him in the open what He revealed to you in the dark especially this month.
